Japanese brand ESSAY was founded in 2015 by Ryusuke Kase and Hirohide Takei. Both graduated from the University of the Arts London. They worked at "Edwina Hoerl" and also worked as salespersons at Hirohide Takei, "DUNE SHOWROOM and N id tokyo". They take "trying" as the brand concept, present their own experience and sensibility at will, and show the knowledge and experience collected over the years in the products.
