Designer Hoshi Kensuke graduated from university and worked at a second-hand clothing store in Tokyo before moving to the UK alone.

While in the UK, he worked as a seamstress and assistant designer at A Child Of The Jago, run by Joe Corre, son of Vivienne Westwood and Malcolm McLaren, where he was responsible for producing collections.

In 2013, he launched his own brand, "REVERBERATE," in the UK, and after returning to Japan in 2015, he moved his base of operations to Japan.

The brand's creations, which have no concept, are based on a wide range of knowledge about vintage and classic styles cultivated in Japan and the UK, and original pattern-making that is born from hand-drawn lines that are not bound by preconceived notions.

With a challenging presentation style that has been passed down from Vivienne and Joe, he creates one-of-a-kind collections that transcend the boundaries of genre.

Since 2023, he has been working in Amsterdam, Netherlands, where he currently resides.
