ANCELLM / #04 Aging01 (Indigo)

ANCELLM's core denim trousers have been updated across the entire range from this season onwards. #04 boasts a striking, substantial width, creating a beautiful wide straight silhouette that falls cleanly to the hem.

We meticulously refined the pattern down to the millimeter, pursuing balance with the upper body, how it sits over shoes, and the overall look of the entire outfit.

While the measurements appear substantial, the fit is beautifully controlled when worn, creating a stunning, three-dimensional silhouette when standing.

For the AGING 01 coloring process, a base color is first faded and set.

Then, uniquely blended shades are layered in light, medium, and dark tones to refine the color’s allure, creating the brand's signature mood. For the repair finish, skilled artisans meticulously hand-apply patches to each pair, stitching them in place with a sewing machine.

To ensure the repaired sections appear artistic when viewed up close, we eschewed conventional methods. Instead, stitches are applied freely in all directions, and distressing is scattered to enhance both mood and impact.

This is a labour of love, the result of extensive trial and error to achieve the beautiful imbalance where refined gradation coexists with rugged processing.

The journey from concept to production was truly arduous.
