ANCELLM / Herringbone Work Jacket (Black)

A shirt jacket that follows the design language of military wear from the 1940s, reinterpreted through ANCELLM's distinctive proportions and balance.

Crafted from a densely woven, durable herringbone twill, the garment undergoes an extensive finishing process to develop a deep, richly aged character.

The M.GREEN colorway expresses a muted, well-worn appearance, while the BLACK colorway is heavily faded, taking advantage of the fabric's strength to create a level of contrast that could not be achieved through natural aging alone.

Originally designed as a simple, flat construction for mass production, the silhouette has been reworked through extensive pattern development to enhance its natural drape and create a more dimensional shape.

A subtle curve is introduced to the front placket, allowing the collar to open with an appearance reminiscent of an open-collar shirt.

The fine density of the weave also provides a degree of wind resistance, allowing the piece to be enjoyed both as a shirt and as a lightweight jacket.
