ANCELLM / Type 1-Denim Jacket OW (Indigo)

This is a classic denim jacket from ANCELLM, crafted from original selvedge denim.

This is a one-wash type.

The process goes beyond simply weaving the selvedge denim and washing it; a deep indigo base is lightly dyed with a brownish dye, and then another color is layered on top, creating a look that develops a unique mood from the very first wear.

It eliminates the often clunky look of dark indigo denim, creating a deep, rich black that exudes a subtle elegance even in a denim set-up.

The design is based on research into and a deep understanding of vintage masterpieces, but it is also modernized by deliberately deconstructing and reconstructing them to create a contemporary look.

Just as the original selvedge denim is renowned for its beautiful aging process, the one-wash process is also meticulously carried out.
