This time, we have collaborated with SHIOTA, one of the leading sewing factories in Okayama, a traditional area among the many denim factories in the fiercely competitive region, to create denim that combines expert sewing techniques.
This piece is based on a vintage work jacket and has been reconstructed with CLESSTE's unique balance. It features a rounded, voluminous silhouette with a wide body width and a balanced fit with just the right amount of tapering at the hem and sleeves. It combines the toughness of workwear with fashionability, creating a design that blends naturally into the city.
This denim is made in Japan in the world-renowned Okayama Prefecture, Bitchu/Bingo region. The warp threads are dyed with indigo rope dyeing, which does not penetrate all the way to the center, allowing the denim's unique texture to develop over time. The 10.5oz weave makes it suitable for all seasons.
The denim also incorporates "e-flow," a next-generation processing technology that reduces the burden on the environment. This technology distributes dyes and chemicals evenly throughout the denim while significantly reducing the amount of water and chemicals used. A bleaching process adds a natural fade, and a final overdyeing adds depth and richness to the color.
