This time, we collaborated with "SHIOTA," one of Okayama's most traditional sewing factories, a highly competitive denim manufacturing area. They created denim incorporating expert sewing techniques.
These jeans are made in Japan, produced in the Bitchu/Bingo region of Okayama Prefecture, a world-renowned denim production area. The warp threads are dyed using indigo rope dyeing, which does not penetrate all the way to the center, allowing the denim's unique texture to develop over time. The 10.5oz weight makes them suitable for all seasons.
These jeans also incorporate "e-flow," a next-generation processing technology that minimizes environmental impact. This technique distributes dyes and chemicals evenly throughout the denim while significantly reducing the use of water and chemicals. A bleaching process adds a natural fade, and a final overdyeing adds depth and richness to the color.
