This time, we received cooperation from SHIOTA, one of the leading sewing factories in Okayama, a traditional factory in the fiercely competitive denim factory area, and they created denim that combines expert sewing techniques.
This piece is based on painter pants that were sold by sports brands in the 2000s, but has an urban silhouette and details.
The back pocket is large enough to store an iPhone or AirPods, making these pants ideal for the modern creator. The waist is elastic and has a drawstring inside, so they can be worn without a belt.
The rise is set deep, so you can wear them low-waisted or high-waisted, depending on your preference.
This denim is made in Japan in the world-renowned Okayama Prefecture, Bitchu/Bingo region. The warp threads are dyed with indigo rope dyeing, which does not penetrate all the way to the center, allowing the denim's unique texture to develop over time. The 10.5oz weave makes it suitable for all seasons.
The denim also incorporates "e-flow," a next-generation processing technology that reduces the burden on the environment. This technology distributes dyes and chemicals evenly throughout the denim while significantly reducing the amount of water and chemicals used. A bleaching process adds a natural fade, and a final overdyeing adds depth and richness to the color.
