This time, we received cooperation from SHIOTA, one of the leading sewing factories in Okayama, a traditional area among the many denim factories in the fiercely competitive region, to create pants that combine expert sewing techniques.
These pants are based on the baker pants worn by US military cooks and waiters, also known as food handlers. They retain the distinctive front pocket design, but feature a modern fit and silhouette that's characteristic of CLESSTE. The sulfur-dyed back satin fabric creates a rich, worn-in look with faded colors and creases, creating a sophisticated, vintage feel.
The vintage processing applied after sewing recreates the realistic aging effect. The rugged details and soft drape of the fabric make this a perfect piece for urban life.
