This jacket was designed as an homage to the iconic "Type II" model from a renowned denim brand. While faithfully preserving the classic aesthetic, it incorporates modern updates—such as a silhouette with just the right amount of volume and a slightly lowered button placket and chest pocket placement. The fabric features a white pigment print applied to a duck canvas base; a "stone-bio" wash process is then applied to the finished garment, creating a faded look and a textured, three-dimensional character reminiscent of a well-worn piece. As the jacket is worn in, the base color gradually emerges, resulting in a unique aging process where the color appears to deepen rather than fade—the reverse of the typical pattern. The result is a jacket with a commanding presence, born from a fusion of respect for vintage style and masterful material processing.
