KANEMASA PHIL / 22G Heavy Weight SS Tee

This piece is crafted using a tightly woven jersey knit fabric. Using custom-ordered recycled Suvin yarn, a thick 20/1 count yarn is held together and knitted tightly, resulting in a short-sleeved tee with a smooth surface and a unique texture.

It's knitted on an old-fashioned 22G sinker knitting machine, packed to its limits. The combination of tight weave, special processing, and high-spec materials creates a texture unexpected from its smooth surface. The t-shirt has enough stiffness to stand on its own. It's dyed using a sulfur dyeing method, which creates an uneven texture that improves with wear. The special dyeing process results in a color that is prone to unevenness and has depth. With wear, color fading and other aging changes occur, creating a vintage feel that contrasts with the high-quality material. The silhouette is characterized by a straight cut from the body to the hem, making the most of the fabric's texture. This is a recommended item that can be worn all year round, from a single layer to an inner layer.
