KANEMASA PHIL / 36G Cashmere Wool Leather(Black)

This new material is a blend of the finest-quality cashmere—developed exclusively with a German spinning mill for circular knitting—and 1/60 Super 120s non-mulesed wool.
It is knitted in a high-density "typewriter" weave using a custom-configured 36-gauge circular knitting machine, utilizing the thinnest possible yarn (1/60 count) that this machinery can accommodate.
In the final stage of production, the fabric undergoes a fulling (felting) process, which creates a light nap on the surface, resulting in a high-gauge "melton" fabric—a textile that balances a sense of luxury with a rugged, raw aesthetic.
While retaining the inherent functional benefits of cashmere and wool—such as being lightweight, heat-retaining, and naturally antibacterial—it offers a smooth, refined touch combined with the inherent stretch of a knit. It is a truly unique, high-end material.
In short, one touch is all it takes to understand its quality; it is a material that must be felt and worn to be fully appreciated.
This piece marks our debut in leather-incorporated apparel, featuring this unique fabric combined with genuine leather sleeves.
The leather used is lambskin, selected for its softness to complement the supple feel of the garment's body.
Designed with a varsity jacket (stadium jacket) as its base, the piece features a rounded silhouette and is fully lined, ensuring excellent heat retention.
