KANEMASA PHIL / 36G Check Balise SS Shirt (White)

We've created a new shirt called “Balise.” Meaning “signpost” in French, this new
style bridges the gap between workwear and dresswear, shirt and blouson, with
its sizing and details. Its versatile fit, suitable for any occasion, will become our
guiding principle and a future staple pattern. Our signature check fabric returns
this season in a four-color Tattersall pattern.
Crafted in a super-high gauge 36G weave, it achieves the dense plain weave
structure of typewriter fabric. Its high stretch offers an addictive comfort once
worn, while minimizing wrinkles and shape changes during wear for exceptional
easy care. This new standard shirting fabric, unique to us, combines crispness,
sheen, and easy care. Details include dress shirt construction with all flat-felled
seams and pearl buttons. The sleeves, however, are crafted with a casual
blouson-like feel. This one-of-a-kind shirt blends the fabric's crispness, sheen, and
well-balanced silhouette with the inherent dressiness of the pattern. The cotton
yarn uses 160/1 fine-count recycled combed cotton in a two-ply construction.
Gas-burning the yarn further enhances the sheen and reduces pilling after
washing. Stretch is achieved using 75D high-crimp recycled polyester. The brand
logo is embroidered on the back of the buttons.
※Rolled Hem Stitching - A sewing method where the fabric edge is hidden by
sewing over it a second time after the initial stitching, ensuring a smooth feel
against the skin.
