New trousers have arrived from nonnotte.

These are an ambitious new design, blending military and tailoring elements.

They are wide, straight trousers with a substantial width.

The drawstring waist gives them a rugged, military-pant-like feel, while the two neat pleats at the front add drape and structure, creating a tailored look.

The smoothness and elegance of the wool, combined with this rugged design, creates a captivating contrast.

When the drawstring is tightened, the military-like feel is emphasized, resulting in a relaxed yet polished impression.

The drape of the wool ensures that even with a wide silhouette, elegance is maintained, preventing the trousers from appearing clunky.

To express this special quality, I named this material Eau de Tailleur (meaning "Tailoring Water").

It means "Tailoring Water."

It's easy to simply call it "washable wool," but considering the technology and philosophy behind this material, I felt it was very different to lump it together with typical washable wool.

That's how much I feel this yarn is an invention.

Typical washable wool relies on chemical treatment to remove wool fibers.

However, this material achieves a beautiful, fiber-free surface without using chemicals. The fibers are twisted inward during the spinning process, incorporating the fibers into the yarn.

Furthermore, approximately 12% nylon is hidden within the yarn's core, providing strength and shape stability in a way that isn't visible from the outside.

Furthermore, because this material was designed to "maintain its beauty even after repeated washing," the yarn was pre-dyed to achieve an even, elegant color without any unevenness.

Even though it incurs additional costs, we prioritized pre-dyeing over post-dyeing to ensure depth and stability of color.

As a result, we created a material that retains the luxurious feel and drape characteristic of wool while possessing the toughness of nylon.

It's machine washable, wrinkle-resistant, and doesn't easily lose its shape even after many washes.

Yet, the touch against the skin remains unmistakably smooth wool.

We believe that the best qualities of wool are best showcased in summer.

This Eau de Tailleur further refines that idea, developed as a "functional and high-quality" wool gabardine for summer wear.

Light, supple, and beautifully integrated into everyday life.

We hope you will try it on as a new frontier in tailoring.
