・About Drape Doeskin Cloth This

is a material that we haven't used since 24AW. For

the past few years, when it comes to plain fabrics, the market has mainly consisted of weaves that are clearly visible, like twill, or plain weaves with a flat appearance.

Within that context, we wondered if it was possible to create a plain fabric that still possessed depth and character. This question led to the creation of this material.

The inspiration came from the weave of doeskin, a fabric used in classic men's formal wear.

Doeskin is a satin weave-based fabric designed to express the texture of deerskin through weaving. It

doesn't have the excessive sheen of typical satin weaves, nor does it look as casual as gabardine.

It possesses a supple resilience, a moderate sheen, and a quiet elegance.

Normally, it is brushed with a milled finish to bring it closer to the look of leather, but nonnotte took a different approach.

By combining our unique special softening process and clear finish, we have redesigned doeskin to have a more modern texture.

Without relying on brushing, we have brought out the drape, resilience, and smooth surface texture that are created by the fabric itself.

Depending on how the light hits it, the shadows subtly shift, creating a look that is not monotonous despite being a plain fabric.

We would like to propose this as a material that can be used year-round, without being limited to a specific season.

The fabric boasts a beautiful drape and a supple texture derived from its weave. It

offers a different feel from conventional solid-colored materials and has the potential to become a cornerstone of your wardrobe.

This time, it will be available in two colors: black and charcoal top.
Black is the color in which the movement of the drape and sheen is most elegantly displayed.

Depending on how the light hits it, the surface changes appearance, resulting in a black with a quiet tension.

Charcoal top gains depth from the heathered texture unique to top yarn, and the shadows of the weave stand out more softly.

Although it is a solid color, it is a shade in which subtle nuances overlap.

With both, you can enjoy the beauty of this material's drape and resilience from different angles.


・Draping Overlap Shirt

This draping shirt incorporates elements of a wrap-style design, with the front panels overlapping.

Rather than a simple overlapping design, the angle and volume of the front panels have been carefully adjusted so that a natural drape is created by the overlapping.

The shadows and flow created by the crossing of the fabric are a major feature of this shirt.

Rather than being tailored to fit the body, this garment's shape is determined by the movement of its overlapping layers.

Its appearance changes depending on the wearer's movements, creating expression both when still and in motion.

A drawstring made of the same fabric runs through the hem.

Lightly tightening this creates natural gathers and bunching at the hem, giving it a three-dimensional look as if it were tucked in.

Even without actually tucking it in, the design visually adjusts the waistline.

Conversely, wearing it without tightening the drawstring creates a flatter, more flowing silhouette. It's a design

that allows you to enjoy two different balances in one garment.

While it is a shirt, it also has a nuance of something like a laptop.

nonnotte's characteristic three-dimensional cutting philosophy is expressed through its overlapping structure.

It's a shirt that works without being overly tailored, and is completed through movement.
